I work out twice a week with a personal trainer for 30 minutes and two more times a week by myself for 45 minutes doing cardio. I just started doing it 12 weeks ago and have already lost 7% body fat! Well worth it!
Never. Well, I might work out three days in a row every few months. When I start to decide I am getting flabby. The reality is, I would rather play with my son, or sleep than waste my free time working out.
Ever since I got pregnant...I have been SOO lazy. Sometimes I find myself just sitting. Doing nothing, just sitting. It's embarrassing, really. So you can feel really good about yourself compared to me!
Why do you care at the moment? You are pregnant, use that excuse for the entire 10 months that you can! AS for me, no more excuses to use-bummer! I've got to get serious to keep up with my ever shrinking husband.
Periodically, I go to the gym EVERY day for a stretch. I lose 10-12 lbs doing that. Then I have a loooong break because life at large catches up with me. I may put a couple og lbs on, but nothing serious.
I still have a ways to go. I hate my body. Two kids in two years. I need to catch my breath a minute. I'm amazed that my husband still wants me. Poor guy, I just don't feel like getting it on with him until I lose at least another 20 lbs. Oh, and getting some muscle tone back would be nice too!
I walk the dog in the morning. And the sometimes run on the treadmill when we get home. And then there's the yoga, that I oh so luxuriously have the time for . . .
What the heck is my problem? With no kids I should be exercising 9 days a week for six hours a day and I should have a rockin' body.
That I aside, I swear to you that the reason I work out and nag others to do it for the sake of health. I'm stuck with this body whether I like it or not; if three days a week with 20 minutes on a treadmill give me good cholesterol, BP, body fat, etc. results, then that's enough. If it takes a bunch of yoga and many walks with my Sophie, so be it. But it's all about your health, less about how you look or think you look.
You're hot and health conscious, Meri; enough with beating yourself up.
Um, I'm just wondering where the 0 answer is?? Guess I'll lie and say 1-2. I really should get motivated. I did Tae-bo for about 2 weeks this summer. Man I'm lazy.
this is way funny Mer. Okay for real I probably only work out 4-5 days a week usually 5 but I feel guilty saying that right now because we are moving and you know how that goes. Usually for an hour to an hour and a half. By the time you get to your third child it doesn't just melt off anymore. So yes a mom of three (but you know that) I am happy to sAY that I only have a few more pounds before I should be able to fit back in my jeans. P.s. I didn't work out half as much when I was pregnant. Give yourself a friekin break who cares.

My motivation is my really unattractive post-partum mid section and lower half. For reals, second time around is worse than the first. Sorry.
ps, hope you are feeling good!

Ahhh, the luxuries of being childless.
