This is Nate and I posing prom style in front of the David Letterman Show sign, it was 6 am, and we had been flying all night. But New York is so neat before anyone is up. It was the best morning ever.
Here is Nate and Rhett (My sis's hubby), eating at Norma's at Le Parker Meridian Hotel. If you haven't eaten breakfast there, I STRONGLY advise it. It's what I imagine breakfast in heaven will be like.... we were the first ones there, waiting for it to open. I was so thrilled. Of course, food always gets me going. Sad.
After breakfast, it was only like 7 am, so we walked to central park and found a nice big rock to lay on. We took a nap there in the sunshine, it was awesome. Gazing up at the tall buildings above and watching all the runners, I think there was a race. When we woke up, there were about 30 people surrounding us. Everyone was soaking up the sun. It was delightful. Here is Sarah showing us how cool she is for climbing to the top, and as you can see, Nate was really tired, he passed out right when he hit the rock.
Here is Nate keeping me warm, cause I was FREEZING when I woke up. He is such a babe.
Sarah and I were talking about how the tunnels under the bridges there, were prime purse stealing spots. So we decided to re-inact a purse snatching, for $*its-and giggles. No sleep+sisters=mischief.
That night we saw "The Drowsy Chaperone" which was SO SO GOOD. I loved it. Almost my favorite show ever. Just a good funny show. Here I am with my sisters Sarah and Stephanie. Yes, Steph is the oldest but she looks 18. Jealous.
Times Square Baby, love it.
We saw the Naked Cowboy! I was so excited to take my pic with him. But we noticed he looked a little tipsy, and was kissing the women that took pics with him on the neck and ears, so Nate nixed me taking a pic with him. I really didn't want to either, poor guy look hammered. Thats what happens when you work in your undies I guess.
The next day, after a fun filled spree at H&M, Rhett and Nate got their shoes shined by a famous shoe shine man.
As we waited for the boys to get their shoes done, there was a cute little old man in a Spider Man costume, with braids and other things. We weren't sure what he was supposed to be, but he said if we donated to his funeral fund, we could take a picture with him and make our Christmas cards out of them. How could we refuse? So Sarah gave him a couple dollars, he grabbed his mangled Christmas tree top and they posed for Christmas 2007.
Steph's Hubby Tom, is secretly in love with Rhett, we decided.
Here are Nate and I Dining for Sarah's star birthday in Little Italy.
The whole group of us. HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY SARAH!!
We went to Ground Zero and Battery park the next day. Ground Zero was very neat. I have been there before twice, but this time was especially cool, cause Tom went there 2 days after the attack and helped out. He had all sorts of stories to tell us about what happened where and what it all looked like etc. It was interesting, but very sad as well. We were all teary eyed.
Sarah and I woke up at 5:30 am and headed off the see the TODAY SHOW in action. The boys stayed asleep, can't blame them. We had a GREAT time though. Here was our view, looking into the studio.
I have a ton more photos to come. Gotta go get the kid, she just woke up.

I was thinking how great you look in these pictures. I knew you had to be out of town cuz your blog has not been updated. I think I am going to NY for thanksgiving. I might be going to Las Vegas this weekend but if not lets do something. I'll talk to Jason too and see if he's interested.
