She froze.
"Kids with no heads?" She said.....apparently that interested her.
I laughed and began to look around. Then I noticed that she was still by the mannequins. I went over to observe and found her kissing and hugging them, dancing with them, and telling them stories. I asked her what she was doing and she said "Playing with my friends".
It was time to leave so I told her she had to tell her friends goodbye, "Take our picture Mom. Take our picture please!"
So I did. I was a little embarrassed, taking pictures of mannequins, but that's what the kid wanted. She gave them each one last hug and kiss and then we went on our way.
I am really excited that this kid is going to have a sibling soon. I think she needs one.

She's just so gosh darn friendly, especially to amputees.

Oh my gosh Meri that is the funniest thing I've ever heard! I too thought she was going to be freaked out by the "Look, kids with no heads" comment. But oh no...What a champ! She definately needs a little friend:)
