Solee's First Hair Cut

I don't know why, but Nate seems to think that I don't have very good hair cutting skills, especially when it comes to Solee. What? I am awesome! But no matter how many times I tell him I can handle the child hair cutting, he always seems a little disappointed with my efforts (that is, after he has stopped laughing). Here is an example of my sweet bangs job I gave Solee in December.
Nate wanted me to let her bangs grow out, but since she doesn't let me do her hair, she was walking around with her head tipped back so she could see through her messy hair. I got so sick of watching her crank her neck just to see, I am afraid she may have neck issues later in life. So we decided to go to our best's buddy Cassidy (hair dresser extraordinaire) to get Solee a REAL hair cut.
I knew she would be excited to get her hair cut because she LOVES attention, and being pampered (typical woman 'eh?)
Here she is. Cass was so good at making it fun for her, it was not the least bit scary. She held so still.
I don't know who was more excited, Nate or Solee.
She even got a style, curling iron and all! Cass really whipped out the red carpet for our little bugger. All in all, the first hair cut was a HUGE success! Just look at that smile!
